Elim's Sports Day 2016

An Important Note to all Parents on Graduation 2016

Elim's Graduation 2016 as well as Annual Day 2016 will be held on March 19 (Saturday) from 10.00 am. The venue will be Elim's Multipurpose Hall. Since the seating capacity of the venue is limited, we request parents not to invite your family members or friends. All parents who do not avail the School transport are requested to send the children to Elim by 9.00 am. After dropping the children, parents should leave the premises and be back only at 10.00. Those who avail the school transport, children will be picked up from the picking points as usual. School transport will not be available for the return trip, after the event.

The School will be arranging a professional photographer and the photos and videos will be shared with parents. We also request parents to do carpooling as much as possible as our carparking facility at Elim can afford only around 50 cars. Parents are also requested not to park the vehicles on the roads, but at the parking areas, arranged for the event.

Elim organized this year's Sports Day for Nursery and Kindergarten classes on February 26. It was held at Elim's adjacent play ground for outdoor activities and for indoor games, at Elim's Multipurpose Hall. There were variety of sports events such as water scooping race, lemon and spoon race, frog jumping, etc, etc.

Elim, the Leading Preschool on Sarjapur Road

Elim has come a long way. Over the last FIVE years of its existence, Elim has become the leading preschool on Sarjapur Road. Elim is able to cater to the preschool and childcare needs of parents not only from the surroundings but also from areas such as Gunjur, Dommasandra, Ballandur, and HSR Layout. ·        Elim has highly qualified teachers with almost everyone having graduate or post-graduate level degrees. Elim's Director, Bessy Skariah, has a Masters Degree in early childhood education from Singapore. She also has B A degree in Economics, and a Diploma in Montessori from India Montessori Training Centre (IMTC). Bessy directly involves in teaching the KG class. Elim's Nursery department is handled by Sheela Belin and she has MSc, M Phil degrees. The Prenursery department is handled by Relda Verma, who was an IT Engineer before joining Elim.

·       Elim maintains high quality academic standards with a well thought-out curriculum based on the Montessori Method of teaching. Elim has fully setup Montessori Classrooms. Elim's students are well placed with good command in English language and overall development to be admitted to any public or international school for their Primary level education.

·         Elim is committed to service for which the management is directly involved in nurturing and caregiving without relying on outsourcing. No service of Elim is outsourced. This in fact helps us to take care of one of the major concerns of parents--SAFETY.

This academic year Elim has added two more new vehicles, namely, TATA Winger and Maruti Eeco. The drivers of these vehicles are trusted people who have been with Elim for many years. For safety reasons, Elim does not hire drivers from agencies.

Our Programs (and Age)

Playgroup/Prenursery (1.5-2.8)

Early childhood learning is planned here with a special focus on children interacting each other through indoor play activities, music, art & craft, story-telling, and outdoor play and games. This helps children to be confident and independent at an early age.

Nursery (2.9-3.8)

Children’s organized learning begins here with a well-planned curriculum, focusing on phonics, enrichment of vocabulary, writing, and working with thematic materials to enhance their understanding on the basic areas of early childhood education and practical life.

Kindergarten (3.9-6.0)

Children advance in their early school learning process here with the help of fully equipped Montessori classrooms. Children are prepared to make and read simple sentences with correct pronunciation, cursive writing, advance in arithmetic, express themselves confidently through show & tell, engage themselves in group and thematic activities, participate in competitive games and activities, etc, etc.

Daycare and Afterschool Care (1.5-9.0)

Children are engaged with extra-curricular activities, moulded with ethical values, and physically developed through outdoor play and games.
