Elim's Admissions for 2023-24 Academic Year

Elim admits children above 2.0 years of age for Pre-Nursery class; for Nursery the required age level is 2.10; for Junior KG, 3.10, and Senior KG the required age is 4.10. This means, for Nursery and Kindergarten, we calculate from August 1st, and by May 31st the required age should be reached. (We may make some adjustments for the age limit, but the parents should take the full responsibility for the same.)

Elim has one of the best campuses for a Preschool on Sarjapur Road (with an adjacent playground and parking ground) and the quality of Elim's academic curriculum is well known. Elim has been functioning for the last 13 years on Sarjapur Road and blessed with a very experienced team of teachers and support staff. Since Elim is not a commercial, business minded, establishment, its fee structure is very reasonable and affordable.

Pls note that we are located in Doddakannahalli, around 70-100 meters inside of the Sarjapur Main Road, opposite of Maruti Nexa Car Showroom and Indian Oil Petrol Station, adjacent to V V R Public School. On the Sarjapur Main Road, at the entrance of V V R School you would see Elim Preschool board with arrow mark pointing inside. Just drive inside, pass V V R School inside entry gate, and you would see another Big Elim board and Elim Playground Gate. Pass the gate and take the left turn and your would see Elim building on your right. Elim is on the ground floor of 4 story building. You would also see Elim parking ground diagonally opposite of Elim building, where Elim school buses are parked.

Dear Parents,

Elim Preschool is happy to announce the commencement of the admission process for the next academic year (2022-2023).

For the next academic year, Elim is offering regular campus classes, for which admission is going on.

For the current academic year (2021-2022) Elim is conducting online classes (video sharing and live) for all the three classes, mentioned above. All our existing parents are very happy for the quality of the lessons, and the students enjoy, and they have a fruitful academic year, in the midst of Covid 19.

For the fee structure, Elim has a very affordable fee structure as Elim is not purely a profit making corporate entity, but a service minded institution.

For the next academic year, Elim enters into the 12th year of her service. Thank you dear parents for your support all these years. We are committed to provide good quality education for a very affordable fee structure.

Elim Admission For 2020-2021 Update & Online Classes

Academic Year 2020-2021 Begins on June 01, Monday

Dear Parents, please note that Elim Preschool, Academic Year 2020-2021 begins on Monday, June 01. All the arrangements have been done and distribution of books has been happening from May 25 till May 30. All those who have paid the Utility Fee, pls come to the School and collect the books.

The School has sent the Elim Circular #2 (2020-21) with all the details, explaining the design of the classes. Since there is no permission from the Govt to start on campus classes, our arrangement is teacher-parent guided, activity oriented teaching program for all the three level classes, namely, Nursery (M 1), Junior KG (M 2), and Senior KG (M 3). For safety reasons, Elim will not be having the Pre-Nursery class for the new Academic Year.

The School will be charging only a minimum tuition fee during the off campus classes and the parents have the option to pay the fee on a quarterly basis. All these details are clearly mentioned in the Elim Circular #2 (2020-21). If you have not received the circular, pls contact the Elim office.

Sub. Elim Preschool Reopening Details

Dear Parents,

We are happy to announce to you all that Elim office has started preparations for the reopening of the School for the academic year 2020-21.

In the light of Covid 19 pandemic, we are taking precautions though. On campus classes will begin only as per the directions of the Karnataka Government. Till today we have not received information from the Government when to start campus classes.

However, we are planning to start teacher-parent guided online activities for Nursery Class, Junior KG (LKG), and Senior KG (UKG) students from June 01 (Monday). In the light of this special circumstances, Elim may not offer Pre-Nursery classes in the coming academic year (students below 2 years and six months by June 2020).

For all those students who have confirmed their enrollment for the next academic year by paying the Utility Fee of Rs 10,000.00, the books will be distributed from May 25 (Monday).

For those students who have not paid the Utility Fee of Rs 10,000.00 pls pay by May 18 so that we will have the final list of students before we purchase the books for the students. For the payment of the Utility Fee, we request you to do the online transfer.

In the light of Covid 19 pandemic, we also want to assure the parents that the earlier announced fee hike would be withdrawn for the new academic year. The Fee Structure for the new academic year will be the same as last year.

In the new scenario, Elim Preschool will be implementing number of safety measures and the Elim Management wants to assure all parents that we will take utmost care to ensure the safety of all our students and staff. Following are some of the measures:

> Face mask is compulsory for all who enter the Elim campus.

> Students should carry their on hand sanitizer. Hand washing liquid is available in Elim washrooms.

> No student or staff with running nose, cough or cold, or fever be allowed to the campus.

> Students’ temperature be checked by the bus assistant before boarding the school bus (from the pick up point), at the arrival to School, and when necessary (while in the School).

> In order to practice maximum social distancing, maximum number of students in one class will not exceed 15. (We may even consider having the classes in two sessions, one from 8.30 am – 11.00 am and the other from 11.15 am - 1.30 pm.)

More measures will be announced later.

These are unprecedented, very difficult times for our generation, and we need to prayerfully work together and co-operate for the well-being of all of us. As an institution, we will stand with you in these difficult times.

Elim Admission For 2020-2021 Update & Online Classes

Dear parents, if you are planning to place your child at Elim Preschool, Doddakannelli, Sarjapur Road, for the Academic Year 2020-2021, beginning from June, 2020, pls be aware that the admission is progressing.

For all the confirmed admissions, parents pls note that online classes for next academic year will begin from June 01, 2020. Books will be issued from May 23 (Saturday). Online classes will be held for Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG students. For the existing students, who are yet to confirm for next academic year, we request the parents to confirm your child's placement at the earliest.

For the campus classes to begin, we will follow the government's guidelines and directions.

In the light of Covid 19, Elim Preschool has strict guidelines for visiting the school campus. If you plan to visit the campus for admission inquiries (this will be possible only after the lock-down is over on May 17, 2020), pls note that campus visit will be allowed only with prior appointments. Pls call Elim office for details and to make an appointment. The office number is 9590 7373 52. To make a campus visit appoint, you may call from May 11 onward.

For those parents who plan to enroll your children with Elim Preschool, the Elim Management assures you our utmost care. Different from other Preschools on Sarjapur Road, Elim has a very spacious campus and therefore we plan to spread out the classes to avoid crowding of classrooms and to practice maximum social distancing.

Elim Annual Day & Graduation 2020

Elim Preschool had her Annual Day & Graduation 2020 on February 22, 2020, on Elim premises, 3rd & 4th level of Elim & Covenant building, at the Sanctuary Hall. It was a great event, attended by all our students and parents, and many parents brought in the grandparents and the loved ones as well. Students from all the classes, viz Junior and Senior Nursery (age 2.00 - 3.5), Junior Kindergarten (age 3.5 - 4.8), and Senior Kindergarten (age 4.5-6.0), presented various activities according to their talents. The event was very colorful and glorious. The Elim management wants to thank all our staff, students, and parents for their great co-operation and contributions to make the day unforgettable. Special thanks go to Deepa Ma'm, the anchor for the event, Shyla M'am and Sowmya Ma'm who designed & decorated the Sanctuary Hall, Christy Ma'm and Relda Ma'm who prepared the students with the dance items, Anju Ma'm and Rani Ma'm who prepared the graduating students, and brothers Dennish and Pravin who took care of the sound and physical arrangement. We also want to acknowledge all our support staff who took care of the safety of every student. Truly, it was a team work, and all have played their roles well.

Most importantly, we want to acknowledge the gracious and merciful hand of the LORD that has seen us through all these NINE years of Elim's existence. As we enter into the TENTH year in 2020, we are thankful to God for what He has been doing through Elim and Covenant.

Junior Nursery (2.0-2.8)

Early childhood learning is planned here with a special focus on children interacting each other through indoor play activities, music, art & craft, story-telling, and outdoor play and games. This helps children to enrich their communication skills, be confident and independent at an early age.

Senior Nursery (2.8-3.10)

Children’s organized learning begins here with a well-planned curriculum, focusing on phonics, enrichment of vocabulary, writing, and working with thematic materials to enhance their understanding on the basic areas of early childhood education and practical life.

Kindergarten (3.8-6.0)

Children advance in their early school learning process here with the help of fully equipped Montessori classrooms. Children are prepared to make and read simple sentences with correct pronunciation, cursive writing, advance in arithmetic, express themselves confidently through show & tell, engage themselves in group and thematic activities, participate in competitive games and activities, etc, etc.
